Kern Valley , CA. -- In a dramatic river rescue by Kern County Sheriff's and Kern River Valley Search and Rescue personnel, seven people were saved from the churning waters of the Kern River above Powerhouse #3 Saturday afternoon about 2:40 p.m.

Chicago Police look for missing girl who may be headed to Mexico

Police have issued an alert for a missing 15-year-old girl from the Southwest Side Brighton Park neighborhood who may have headed to Mexico with her 20-year-old boyfriend.
